    The Maine Aviation Historical Society holds monthly membership meetings.  These
    meetings allow us to organize and manage the Museum but they also provide us an
    opportunity to have programs and speakers that help us learn more about the aviation
    history in Maine.  Meetings are held the second Saturday of the month at 10:00 AM.

    Meetings are open to the public and we would encourage you to attend and learn more
    about us.  Also, please bring a friend.

    Most meetings are held at the Museum but during the winter months we hold meetings at
    various locations around the State.  This gives us an opportunity to visit other places and
    meet new people.

The February and March meetings are canceled as travel is always a problem during the
winter.

Please join us at one of our future meetings.

As always volunteers are needed.  Can you spare a few hours to help us out??  If so
drop me a note (mam@maineairmuseum.org) or call the Museum and leave a message.

We had a wonderful tour of the Maine Military Museum in south Portland.  The owner and curator Lee
Humiston gave us a great personal tour with lots of stories on all the exhibits.  The Museum isn't the largest
but is dedicated to the POW/MIA's and is very rich in history.
